The Cherished is an RPG game with multiple endings. The player controls a girl who has lost her memory as she woke up, and the objective is to explore the world as she collects fragments of her memories in the form of polaroid pictures.
Which pictures and dialogues the player chooses will result in one of several endings. The game features subtle horror elements and the storyline heavily revolves around familial relationships and narcissistic parents.

Hey, the controls are a bit wacky. When I press Z nothing happens at the beginning (only an empty save slot? pops up) and the main menu as to be controlled with the mouse for some reason.
Nvm, I restarted the game for the second time and now everything works fine, lol!
